Patrick Torrens lives in the Adelaide Hills near Mount Barker Springs on a property which is ideal for training and working his dogs. He has been working spaniels in Australia for over 25 years both in the shooting field and trials.Patrick is an Open Stake judge and as much as Patrick enjoys trialling dogs he understands that the most important quality of a Springer Spaniel is its ability to do its job in the shooting field – it is those qualities which are fundamental when selecting his Rosstulla Spaniels. Over the years Patrick has made up three Australian Kennel Club Field Trial Champions and two Working Gundog Association of Australia Field Champions, and has also won the Australian National Field Trial Championship and two Victorian State Championships with his dogs.
